I worked hard, doubted myself even when I was capable, and learned to associate being seen with judgment or rejection rather than safety. I felt this most strongly whenever I was asked to step into visibility. Filming and interviewing people used to trigger intense anxiety and a freeze response. Through NLP, we traced that fear directly back to the need to prove myself and the belief that being visible would lead to rejection. Once that pattern was processed, something shifted. The fear didn’t need managing or pushing through. It simply eased. I can now film, interview, and speak up with a confidence that feels natural rather than forced. We also worked deeply on trust, worthiness, and my relationship with success and money. I had long associated success with arrogance or guilt, and money with something uncomfortable or incompatible with meaningful work. Through this process, those beliefs softened and were redefined. I now see success as living in alignment with my values, freedom, creativity, contribution, and connection, and money as a practical tool that supports choice and impact rather than something to feel ashamed of wanting. Another powerful shift was how I now relate to fear and imposter syndrome itself. I learned that fear doesn’t mean I’m incapable. I had the privilege of doing 12 weeks of NLP with Chris 🌸. From the very beginning I felt Chris being confident and fluent in NLP. Before enrolling I thought I knew something about my feelings and their background however I was greatly mistaken in a good way. I don’t have to alter myself to fit someone else’s standards. I am already whole. And that’s exactly what I’m choosing to do. The beautiful thing about this process is you get to "re-decide" the choices you made unconsciously and choose a new way that supports you now and in the future. I am immensely grateful for having met Chris. He’s guided me through so many deep coaching experiences that have been literally - yes, I mean literally - life changing in just 3 months. A re-imprint is a deep dive into oneself. Chis Leddy shows an apt skill in leading the process with clear, calm instruction. I approached Chris for a 1 on 1 session because I had some post covid trauma. I would “go back” to my hospitalisation and the fear of serious injury or something worse could happen, whenever I got a cough, or even when another person was ill. I felt trapped in this fearful and stuck place. By doing an NLP reimprint we transformed the traumatic experience with resources that I needed then. Through the process we “re-programed” the experience. Remarkably, I haven’t once experienced the trauma since the re imprint and it's been several months. When emotional distress occurs during development, such as feeling unseen, unsafe, unsupported, or rejected, the nervous system often encodes these experiences as core emotional truths. Even when the conscious mind no longer recalls these experiences, the unconscious continues to organize perception and behavior around them.
