Just to note, here are the changes I've noticed over the past three months:
Accessing Resources: I used to be an unhappy person, because my wounds stopped me from being able to access my resources such as freedom, significance, connection, and empowerment. My main problem before the sessions was feeling trapped and stuck. Now, I am aware that every second I create my life, so I can access the resources of freedom and empowerment. Balanced Relationships: I realized that my relationships with others were not balanced, perhaps because I couldn't say no to others. Now, I always prioritize myself in every situation, no matter what!
Emotional Awareness: NLP has helped me recognize that sometimes I get triggered due to a lack of a resource, but it doesn't mean all negative emotions come out in that specific situation. For example, before NLP sessions, I didn't notice that when I felt unseen, I also felt weak, unloved, and trapped as well. Task Completion: For 30 years, I struggled to finish what I started. Now, I can complete most tasks, or I choose not to start them if they don't serve me. Self-Compassion: Growing up in a family and society that motivated and taught through shame and guilt, I used to blame myself and I felt shame even for being alive. These days, I refuse to betray myself and no longer blame myself because I am a valuable human! Confidence and Independence: Now, I feel stronger and more confident in achieving what I want. I don't rely on others and only keep people in my life when our relationships are healthy



One of the major challenges that has caused me so much pain, anger and rage for the past several decades was with a person which I called Person D. Iâve come to a deep and genuine realizationâIâm letting it be and letting it go. Iâm no longer trying to change it, fix it, or shape it into something different. Iâm accepting it exactly as it is. And in doing so, Iâve found a profound sense of freedom. Is this like traditional therapy or personal development?
The Ledonian Method stands apart from traditional therapy and personal development by offering a unique, alternative approach to personal transformation, grounded in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Our work is distinct in that it does not adhere to the typical protocols and structures of traditional therapy or personal development that you would find with life coaches, psychologists, mental health therapists, licensed counselors & psychiatrists and so on. In contrast to traditional therapy, which often emphasizes understanding and accepting the problem, our method focuses on working with the unconscious mind in a gentle, highly effective way to deconstruct and empower the "problem". This allows our clients to experience profound, sustainable growth in about 15 to 60 hours of unconscious work. In our opinion conventional approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Therapy and many others, are very good at diagnosing the visible symptoms on the surface not the cause of the problem that resides in the unconscious.
These methods often rely on structured, logical steps or exercises designed to target our thoughts, feelings, and actions. With the idea that if we change our thoughts, feelings and actions we will change our problem or at the very least manage it. Imagine trying to change the course of a river by constantly redirecting the water with small dams along its banks. Each time you build a dam, the water shifts, and the river appears to follow a new path. While this can create a change in the riverâs direction, the fundamental flow of water is still governed by the underlying current beneath the surface. The repeated redirection of the water might seem effective in the short term, but unless you address the current, the river will eventually return to its original course. In the same way, many personal development methods and conventional therapy focus on changing our thoughts, feelings, and actions, thinking that if we simply control these external behaviors, we can change our problems. While this can create change, it still relies on influencing the unconscious mind through repetition. True transformation comes not just from redirecting the surface, but from understanding and reshaping the underlying currents that guide our behavior.
Research shows roughly 95% of our actions and decisions are driven by the unconscious mind. When we focus only on conscious effortsâlike our thoughts, actions, and feelingsâwe're addressing about 5% of what's truly driving us. Neuroscientist Antonio Damasio, a leading expert in brain research, highlighted this idea when he said, "The conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg. The vast majority of what happens in the brain happens outside of conscious awareness." This starkly illustrates how little our conscious mind actually controls compared to the powerful, hidden processes of the unconscious. In a similar vein, Richard Davidson, a renowned neuroscientist known for his work on emotions and the brain, explained that, "The brainâs emotional responses often operate below the level of conscious awareness, guiding our decisions, behaviors, and even perceptions without us being aware of it." Davidson's work underscores that many of our decisions and actions are steered by unconscious emotional reactionsâfar beyond our conscious control or awareness.
This is where the real distinction lies in our opinion: traditional therapy and personal development primarily address 5% of what we are conscious of, this is like re-painting the house thinking it will fix the foundation. The conscious mind processes only about 400 bits of information per second, while the unconscious mind takes in 11 million bits per second. To put it in perspective, our unconscious has about 27,500 times the computing power compared to our conscious! That's incredible!!! To make this really obvious. Imagine trying to crack the Enigma code during WWII using pen and paper. The Enigma machine had millions of possible combinations, and no matter how skilled or intelligent the code-breakers were, it would have been impossible to crack it using such a slow, manual process. It wasnât until the invention of the Turing machine, a machine designed specifically to process vast amounts of information quickly, that the code was cracked. Now, picture trying to break your "Enigma code" with a pen and paper, now let that sink in, no matter how brilliant, determined or driven you are you haven't got the tools that have the capability to solve your problem.

Another crucial point to understand is that the conscious mind doesnât simply take in information as it appears; it filters everything through the lens of our beliefs, values, and past experiences. It deletes, distorts, and generalizes information to align with our identity. Our identity shapes our perception of reality, and our perception of reality shapes our identity, forming a feedback loop. This is why people stay in jobs they hate or relationships they know arenât right and when they leave they keep finding their way back to same old stuff its just in a different wrapper. Our identity is the core of our personality, and what we believe to be absolute forms our reality. To change that, we must return to the sourceâour unconscious identity.
If we change the unconscious patterns, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. By altering the structures that shape how we perceive reality, we can shift the filter that our conscious mind uses to percieve information. This opens up a world full of choice and possibilityâwe no longer feel bound by old, limiting beliefs. Am I making sense? So you can see the limitation with using conventional methods is like trying to run a 400-bit tape recorder to influence an 11 million bit supercomputer? What is the Ledonian Method?

At Ledonian Method our coaches work with a select group of up to 40 clients each year, giving our full attention and energy to those ready for real change. Whats your refund policy?
We do our utmost to select the most suitable clients and with everyone we offer a 3-session commitment clause, allowing both you and your coach to assess whether the program is a good fit. Should you or your coach determine that itâs not the right solution by the third session, you will receive a full refund, minus the cost of the sessions already attended.

Do you work with people that have PTSD
Yes we do but firstly, letâs define Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The term PTSD is widely used, but its meaning has often been diluted in common discourse. To clarify, PTSD refers to a specific mental health condition that can develop after a person experiences or witnesses an event that involves extreme psychological distress.
These events often include, but are not limited to, military combat, natural disasters, serious accidents, violent attacks, or situations where there is a threat of death, witnessing death, injury, or sexual violence. What is a session like to experience
Our sessions are conducted online, so you can experience the transformation from the comfort of your home, using just a laptop or mobile phone with a working camera. Once the process begins, youâll spend about 95% of the time with your eyes closed, as we gently guide you through each step. This immersive experience allows you to deeply connect with the process, tuning into your inner self without distractions.
How you respond to the sessions can vary based on your unique needs and the challenges you're addressing. Some may experience profound euphoria, a sense of deep peace, or even a surge of energy. Others might feel a wave of tiredness as the body processes the shifts with new found perspective.
